EASY EMPANADA RECIPE

Image
Good day, All! Today I would like to share with you the recipe of one of the dishes that I really enjoy making as much as I do eating! It is just a perfect to-go dish that you can bring with you in to any parties that you are invited or serve in your own hosted party.           Before I will begin with the recipe details though, let me also mention that, while I really do find this recipe easy to learn and enjoyable to do at the same time, it is the dough making that I really find time consuming. Especially the part when it had to be filled with the stuffing and pinching, forming, sealing the dough to its notably known shape of an empanada. However, this is my personal take on this and each of us is different. So without making you wait any further, here below is my recipe for Easy Filipino Empanada.        Ingredients: *for the stuffing* 1/2 kilo Ground meat (I personally prefer pork meat) 1 carrots 1 small sized red onions, cut in small cubes 2 cloves garlic, minced  oil of

HAPPY NEW YEAR, HAPPY NEW DAY!

ONE STEP AT A TIME.                     This Blog has nothing to do with cooking or baking or anything about kitchen. It's just me sharing, talking my heart out to anyone willing to listen to (in this case, read) this blog.          Today, more than ever, I may have a different mind set and perspective on things. I am not a typical talker myself. What I mean is, I am not good at talking and/or expressing and/or explaining myself. I know what I want to say, but I couldn't find the right and proper words to say it. In line with this, more often than not, I'd find myself secluded and unaggressive to the point that I wouldn't even bother defending myself even when necessary. What I am good at, is talking to myself. I feel and am very comfortable doing that. It's my only way of expressing my thoughts and explaining my emotions. My only way of putting everything in order, planning and fixing what I think is broken. Every time I am caught in something undesirable, I

Filipino Lechon Manok

Image
FILIPINO LECHON MANOK          If you are a Filipino, like me, you will definitely agree with me on this -Filipino Lechon Manok is the best compared to the other rotisserie chicken there is. Ours is full-blasting of flavor, the meat is fully cooked yet tender enough for you to enjoy.           I have been craving for that kind of chicken. I've tried several stores and restaurants but I couldn't find a place that serves the same as we do back home. So, I decided to try several recipes online and added my personal twists. After some attempts, I think it's just right for me to say that I finally have found "home" served in our American kitchen. And I can't be happier than knowing that I can now, at any day of the week, cook and enjoy the Filipino Lechon Manok that I enjoyed eating back home.          With this, I would like to share with you this recipe so we all can be happy. I know that like me, there are so many Filipino expats out there who have been feeling

Homemade Low-Carb MeatLoaf Recipe

Image
HOMEMADE LOW-CARB MEATLOAF Today, I decided to share our very own Homemade Low-Carb Meatloaf. I spent years trying to find the perfect meatloaf recipe that both I and my husband can enjoy eating. Side-note, and as I have mentioned on the video, my husband is on a very strict Low- (to no-) Carb Diet. He loves to eat, and growing up, homemade meatloaf is one of those dishes that he enjoys and love. The problem is, with his quest to maintain his weight, stay healthy and eat the foods he like much as he wants to, he is torn into pieces every time I'd serve meatloaf. So, we decided to find a way to solve this and after so many tries, we finally pieced the recipe together.  I am aware that there are some of you out there who are, like my husband, on the same diet. So, I decided to make a video on this recipe and share it with you so you too can enjoy this easy to make, moist and delicious Homemade Low-Carb Meatloaf. And the great news is, you can eat this all you want -guilt-free! :) A

Please know that there are several different  recipes available that you can try too. Also, I  would like to let you know that I am not a chef or professional cook.
